His limited edition, hand colored book “25 Cats Name Sam and One Blue Pussy” was published in 1954 and features drawings based on the photographs of Walter Chandoha. The calligraphy in the book was done by Warhol’s mother Julia, and “25 Cats Name Sam…” actually only contains 16 drawings of cats named Sam and one titled “One Blue Pussy”.
