In the 1920s, 30s and 40s, Our Gang was a series of 220 “two-reelers” (shorts that ran about twenty minutes) and one feature film that created perhaps the most famous dog character in cinema, Pete the Pup, a Staffordshire Terrier, known for the trademark circle around his eye.
