Congratulations Heather!
Yesterday, ESAH’s second volunteer ever, Heather Corbin learned she has been offered a seat in the University of California at Davis School of Veterinary Medicine’s Class of 2018.
Heather’s accomplishment comes just three years after transitioning from a career in sales to full-time veterinary pre-requisite student and ESAH volunteer. She took to Veterinary medicine with a passion, earning excellent marks in her pre-requisite coursework, all while establishing and expanding her practical clinical knowledge base. The typical veterinary student must apply, on average, two or three times prior to being accepted into a school or college of veterinary medicine. This was Heather’s first application.
I am proud of Heather and her accomplishment, and wish her all the success as she matriculates at UC Davis this coming fall.
